Penguins' Matt Murray: Protecting crease Tuesday
Murray led the Penguins onto the ice Tuesday and will be the starter against the Hurricanes, Joedy McCreary of the Associated Press reports.
Analysis:
The young goaltender had a rough outing against Detroit on Sunday, only stopping 19 of 23 shots. Murray has had a solid February as a whole, though, boasting a .933 save percentage and a 1.96 GAA over six games. He's also fortunate to play behind the highest-scoring offense in the league (3.5 goals per game), giving him a great chance at a win every time out.
