Senators' Curtis Lazar: Will work as top-six forward Tuesday

Lazar is projected to work on the team's second scoring line with Derick Brassard and Zack Smith Tuesday against the Devils, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Citizen reports.

Analysis:

Lazar has produced just one assist all season, and recently he has been a healthy scratch. With Mike Hoffman (groin), Bobby Ryan (finger) and Mark Stone (neck) sidelined, he'll get an opportunity to showcase his talents and prove his worth to his organization, and perhaps to other organizations as well, as we approach the NHL trade deadline. He still doesn't warrant much in the way of fantasy consideration outside of the very deepest of pools.
