Senators' Tom Pyatt: In negotiations with team

Pyatt, an unrestricted free agent at season's end, has been engaged in ongoing negotiations with the club, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Citizen reports.

Analysis:

Pyatt has recorded six goals and 18 points through 57 games with a respectable plus-5 rating while helping fantasy owners in deeper pools with blocked shots (63) and hits (31). The veteran has also won 17 of his 39 faceoffs. He is far more important to his real team than to fantasy owners, as he gives the organization nice veteran depth.
