Devils' Cory Schneider: Patrolling crease Tuesday

Schneider will guard the blue paint against Ottawa on Tuesday, Andrew Gross of The Record reports.

Analysis:

Schneider could face an uphill battle if for no other reason than that he has the league's second-worst offense in front of him -- just 2.29 goals per game. The netminder has been solid of late, posting a .937 save percentage and 2.27 GAA in his last four outings, so he should at least keep it close for his teammates, especially with the Senators' forwards banged up.
