Blues' Magnus Paajarvi: Reassigned Tuesday

Analysis:

After seven short games and three points, another NHL spell has come to a close for Paajarvi, though the winger should be back up when the Blues return from their bye week Feb. 26 against Chicago. The 10th-overall pick in 2009, Paajarvi's career arc has been disappointing to witness. As a highly-touted rookie, Paajarvi scored 15 goals and 34 points in 2010-11, but has trended downwards since then. Nowadays the 25-year-old Swede is a depth forward, bouncing back-and-forth between the AHL and NHL, hoping to rediscover his game.
