Senators' Mark Stone: Ruled out Tuesday

Stone's injury concerns his neck and he'll be unavailable for Tuesday's road game against the Devils, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports.

Analysis:

Ottawa is suddenly a mess up front with Stone, Mike Hoffman (lower body), and Tommy Wingels (undisclosed) all getting knocked out of Sunday's game against the Jets, one day after learning that top-six forward Bobby Ryan broke his finger. Stone's absence, for one, leaves a gaping hole on the top man-advantage unit. He's recorded 47 points (22 goals, 25 assists) in 56 games this season, with six scores and eight helpers taking place on the man advantage. The Senators have the option of patching up their forward lines with recent call-ups Max McCormick and Casey Bailey, though it's worth noting that Hoffman and Wingels reportedly accompanied the team to New Jersey ahead of Tuesday's game. It'll be risky to play Senators in fantasy leagues until more light is shed on who will sub in for the injured.
