Avalanche's Nikita Zadorov: Done for season

Zadorov (ankle) was shut down for the remainder of the season Monday due to injury.

Analysis:

Well, that didn't take long, as the former Sabre left practice Monday morning after getting awkwardly wrapped up with teammate Mikko Rantanen. It's an unfortunately turn of events for Zadorov, but it's not likely to impact many in fantasy circles as most owners jumped ship awhile ago based on his dreadful minus-20 rating and the fact he only accumulated 10 points -- all assists -- in 56 games this year. That said, the 21-year-old's 153 hits are a new career high and could be missed in deeper formats that reward physicality.
