Senators' Mike Hoffman: Travels to New Jersey

Hoffman (lower body) joined the team for the beginning of its four-game road trip that begins Tuesday against the Devils, Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia reports.

Analysis:

Garrioch notes that this doesn't guarantee that Hoffman or the other two injured players from Sunday's contest will play, but it's certainly a good sign for the Senators that he's doing well enough to travel. Another update on his status is expected to surface on game day.
