Sabres' Nicholas Baptiste: Sent down Monday

Baptiste was reassigned to AHL Rochester on Monday, John Vogl of The Buffalo News reports.

Analysis:

The forward hasn't been playing much, only averaging 9:14 per game, but he does have four points in 14 games. With the Sabres on a bye week, Baptiste will go down to get some extra work, and could find his way back up before Saturday's game in Colorado.
