Wild's Jonas Brodin: Back from IR on Saturday

Brodin (finger) will return from injured reserve in a home game against Nashville on Saturday, Michael Russo of the Star Tribune reports.

Analysis:

The Swedish defenseman will finally return to the Wild after missing 14 consecutive games to a finger injury. Brodin has never lit up the stat sheet much, but before the injury he clocked power-play ice time in seven different games since the year turned 2017. The 23-year-old only has three goals and 13 assists this season, but he is on pace for over 100 blocked shots this year even with the missed games, showing he's willing to earn his meal ticket by any means necessary.
