Sharks' Mirco Mueller: Recalled from minors

Mueller was recalled from the AHL's San Jose Barracuda on Saturday to take a road trip to Arizona.

Analysis:

This is the fifth time Mueller has been called up to play with the Sharks this season, although the only time he actually was in the lineup was in a January stint where he played in four games. The defenseman from Switzerland made the most of it, scoring one goal and notching an assist before being sent back down. There is no indication that Mueller will play against the Coyotes on Saturday, but he will at the very least serve as extra depth in case of injury or illness.
