Red Wings' Petr Mrazek: Ready for Caps on Saturday

Mrazek led his team out to the ice for warmups Saturday afternoon, indicating that he'll be the home starter versus the Capitals, Ted Kulfan of The Detroit News reports.

Analysis:

Nothing seems to be going right for the Red Wings these days, as they find themselves with the fewest points (54) in the entire Eastern Conference. It's not likely that this match against a star-laden Capitals team is going to change their fortunes, but perhaps Mrazek will approach this game differently after Washington's club shredded him to the tune of five goals on 30 shots on the road just nine days ago. The Czech is bound to be on the clearance rack in daily fantasy pools, though you should heed our warning that he'll be countered by reigning Vezina Trophy winner Braden Holtby; consider streaming Mrazek only if you like playing with fire.
