Avalanche's Tyson Barrie: Aggressive in road win

Barrie lit the lamp on seven shot attempts Friday, contributing to a 2-1 overtime win over the Hurricanes in Raleigh.

Analysis:

Whether or not you have shares in Barrie for fantasy purposes, you've got to admire the blueliner's compete level in spite of his team sitting in the basement of the NHL standings. He skated for 24:58 as the quarterback on the top power-play unit in this one. We wouldn't be surprised to see a good chunk of fantasy players fading members of the Avalanche based on the ugly record, but it would be a mistake to outright ignore a puck-moving rearguard like Barrie.
