Hurricanes' Joakim Nordstrom: On 14-game scoreless skid

Nordstrom was scoreless with no shots on goal in 11:32 of ice time in Friday's 2-1 overtime loss against the Avalanche.

Analysis:

Nordstrom hasn't recorded a point in 14 games dating back to Jan. 8, and the bottom-six forward hasn't lit the lamp since Dec. 17. His playing time is down to the 10-12 minute neighborhood, and he is lucky to get that with his lack of production lately. Avoid the fourth-line center in all but the deepest of fantasy pools until he starts to add offense on a consistent basis.
