Watch: Jagr reaches another milestone with brilliant solo goal

Kelvin Kuo-USA TODAY Sports

The ageless one can still get it done.

Jaromir Jagr pulled off a jaw-dropping sequence Friday night against the Anaheim Ducks, stripping defenseman Josh Manson of the puck and showing off his still-silky mitts while faking out goaltender John Gibson for a tremendous goal.

The Florida Panthers forward became only the third player in NHL history to score a goal after turning 45, joining Gordie Howe and Chris Chelios, according to TSN StatsCentre.

He'll also likely pass one of them in another impressive category.

Jagr picked up his 1,900th career point with an assist on his 45th birthday (in the Pacific time zone) Wednesday night.

Friday night's goal, meanwhile, was an important one. It stood up as the game winner as the Panthers took down the Ducks 4-1. It's Florida's sixth win in its last seven games, further tightening a jam-packed Atlantic Division.
