Penguins' Carl Hagelin: Ready for return Friday

Hagelin (concussion) has been activated from injured reserve, per the NHL's official media site, and is in the active lineup for Friday night's game in Columbus.

Analysis:

Hagelin is slated to return to action following a five-game absence and after having only participated in full-contact practice for the first time Thursday. Per Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazzette, the Swede is projected to skate on a line with Evgeni Malkin and Patric Hornqvist on Friday night.
