Flames' Brett Kulak: Demoted to minors
The Flames assigned Kulak to AHL Stockton on Friday.
Analysis:
The Flames recently signed defenseman Matt Bartkowski to a two-year, two-way deal, so they're no longer in need of Kulak's services as a bottom-pairing defender. Kulak will likely spend the rest of the campaign in the minors unless Calgary is in need of reinforcements on the blue line due to injury later this season.
