Red Wings' Petr Mrazek: In line to start against Caps on Friday

Mrazek was in the starter's net at practice Friday morning, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports. This puts him on track to face the Capitals at home on Saturday.

Analysis:

Let's just say that Mrazek didn't fare so well when he faced this club in the nation's capital Feb. 9 -- he halted only 25 of 30 shots for an .833 save percentage -- but struggling rookie Jared Coreau is currently the only alternative in goal, as No. 1 tender Jimmy Howard (knee) has suffered multiple setbacks in his rehab. With a losing record of 12-15-6 and disappointing ratios (3.04 GAA and .901 save percentage) through 34 outings, you'd have to be pretty brave to plug Mrazek into your fantasy lineup these days.
