Avalanche's Calvin Pickard: Unsupported by offense in loss to Sabres

Pickard stopped 30 of 32 shots in Buffalo on Thursday, only to absorb a 2-0 loss.

Analysis:

He held down his side of things, posting his best stat line in four games, but that wasn't enough; Pickard now has a four-game losing skid going. The young netminder should continue to carry the load for the Avs down the stretch, but his volume is about the only thing that should catch fantasy owners' attention, as his ratios have been far less than ideal and he's only occasionally able to steal a win.
