Capitals' Tom Gilbert: Dealt to Washington

The Kings traded Gilbert to the Capitals on Wednesday for a conditional fifth-round draft pick in 2017, and he'll start out with AHL Hershey.

Analysis:

The low-end defenseman was waived by the Kings at the beginning of February, so it's a bit curious that the Caps didn't bid for his services at that time. At any rate, the 11th-year journeyman won't be taken seriously in the fantasy realm, as he's shaping up to be a minor league depth option.
