Sabres' Robin Lehner: Makes 39 stops, edges Sens

Lehner stopped 39 of 41 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 road victory over Ottawa.

Analysis:

He had to deal with a much bigger barrage than opposing netminder Craig Anderson, but Lehner handled it with aplomb and kept the Sabres in the game until a pair of third-period goals gave them the win. Even with the pair of four-goal games he's suffered through recently, Lehner has a remarkable .946 save percentage over his last seven contests. The Sabres' defense is making him work awfully hard, though, as he's had to face 40-plus shots four times in that span. That can be good for fantasy owners, but it can also be a drag because the Swedish netminder doesn't win too often behind a Buffalo team that's clearly a work in progress.
