Canucks' Ryan Miller: Stops 38 in losing cause

Miller made 38 saves on 42 shots while his teammates got blanked by Matt Murray in Tuesday's loss to Pittsburgh.

Analysis:

That makes two straight four-goal outings for Miller and four in his last five (including a six-goal effort); because the hockey gods have a sense of humor, the other start was a shutout against Columbus. As has been the case nearly all year, Miller's posting merely average ratios and thus is having trouble getting into the win column on a consistent basis behind the unimpressive Vancouver offense. Most of his fantasy value comes from his volume.
