Penguins' Matt Murray: Blanks Canucks Tuesday

Murray registered his third shutout of the season Tuesday, stopping 29 shots in a 4-0 victory over Vancouver.

Analysis:

He made 12 saves in the third period as the Canucks threw everything they had at the 22-year-old. The 22-year-old netminder has posted save marks of .933 or higher in four of his last five starts; the other was still a .903 in a winning effort. Murray is now 12-1-2 at PPG Paints Arena, where the Pens will play two of their next three games. Based on past usage, he'll likely cede either Thursday's home tilt against Winnipeg or Friday's away game in Columbus to Marc-Andre Fleury; stay tuned to find out which one.
