Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Tending twine Tuesday

Hellebuyck will get the starting nod against the Stars on Tuesday, Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.

Analysis:

Hellebuyck is winless since Ondrej Pavelec (concussion) got hurt, giving up three goals in each of his last two starts. Unfortunately for Jets fans, Michael Hutchinson hasn't fared much better this year, which likely means Hellebuyck will continue to get the bulk of the time in between the pipes until Pavelec clears the concussion protocol. Only two teams are giving up more goals per game than Winnipeg (3.17); fortunately, one of them is Tuesday's opponent, Dallas (3.18).
