Analysis:

Lack has no timetable for his return, and the Hurricanes will undoubtedly tread carefully, considering that this is the backstop's second concussion this season. Taking his spot on the active roster is veteran puck plugger Michael Leighton, though he rarely gets used as the No. 2 man behind Cam Ward. Daniel Altshuller has been in the mix for that role as well.
