Penguins' Matt Murray: Gets unexpected work against Leafs

Murray was called into action during the first period Saturday, when starter Marc-Andre Fleury was cut in the throat by a skate blade and forced to leave the game.

Analysis:

He played 9:15 and stopped all six shots he faced before Fleury returned. Murray's next opportunity to start will be at home Tuesday against the Rangers, but it's possible the Pens could go back to Fleury after his strong showing in Toronto.
