Penguins' Kris Letang: Getting offensive help on blue line

Letang was held without a point for just the second time in the last seven games Wednesday.

Analysis:

The Penguins are receiving balanced scoring from their blue line for the first time in years. Justin Schultz has potted five goals to Letang's two, while the team recently decided to go with two defensemen (including Trevor Daley) on its first power-play unit instead of just Letang. With five hits, four blocks and two takeaways Wednesday, Letang continues to contribute in the peripheral categories. He leads all Pittsburgh defenders with 19 points in 25 games.
