Predators' Pekka Rinne: Boosted by offense in win over Blues

Rinne gave up three goals on 28 shots in Tuesday's 6-3 victory over St. Louis.

Analysis:

The Blues racked up three goals on him in the game's first 21-plus minutes, but Rinne was able to shut the door after Brad Hunt's power-play tally made it 3-0 early in the second. Then Nashville's offense went to work and bailed the Finnish netminder out by scoring six straight times. Rinne's ratios have been rather awful recently, as he has a 4.22 GAA and .852 save mark over his last five starts, weighing down his formerly sterling season stat line.
