Wild's Zach Parise: Opens scoring against Florida

Parise scored the opening goal and fired six shots on net during Tuesday's win over the Panthers.

Analysis:

The tally snapped a seven-game goalless stretch, and it was just the second point in eight games for Parise. He's maintained his high shot volume (3.19) this year, but the 32-year-old veteran has just five goals and 11 points through 21 games. There is obviously upside for Parise to right the offensive ship, but his scoring decline dates back to last season.
