Coyotes' Max Domi: Transferred to IR

Domi (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Saturday and is being described as "week-to-week."

Analysis:

The 12th overall pick from the 2013 draft averaged close to a point per game between Oct. 23 and Nov. 19, but the skilled pivot has just three points -- all goals -- in nine games since then. Arizona's power play is far from impressive with a 24th-ranked conversation rate of 14.3 percent, and losing a guy like Domi could send the man-advantage units into further disarray. Laurent Dauphin reportedly has been called up from the AHL as Domi's replacement.
