Ducks' Jonathan Bernier: Likely starter Friday

Bernier is in line to start against the Sharks on Friday night, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.

Analysis:

While Bernier has yet to be officially confirmed as the starter, all signs point to him being in net Friday, but we will be sure to update his status if he does not go. The decision to start Bernier doesn't come as a huge surprise after John Gibson allowed five goals in an overtime win on Wednesday. It also makes sense considering Bernier saved 21 of 23 shots en route to a win in his last outing against San Jose on Nov. 26.
