Rangers' Jimmy Vesey: Game-time decision against Blackhawks

Vesey (upper body) will be a game-time decision for Friday's matchup with Chicago, Brian Hedger of NHL.com reports.

Analysis:

Even when healthy, Vesey has been rather inconsistent this season, but is currently on the upswing with four points in his previous six contests. Two of those points came on the man advantage, where the winger is averaging 2:01 of ice time per night. Highly touted coming out of college, the 23-year-old appears to have lived up to expectations thus far.
