Kings' Jeff Zatkoff: Struggles in rare start Thursday

Zatkoff stopped just 15 of 18 shots faced in a 3-1 loss to Carolina on Thursday.

Analysis:

Zatkoff didn't do much to earn the trust of head coach Darryl Sutter in his first start since Nov. 11 by allowing three of the first 15 shots to slip behind him. Peter Budaj, who had made 23 straight appearances, figures to be back between the pipes when the Kings take the ice again Saturday.
