Flames' Kris Versteeg: Will not play Tuesday

Versteeg will not suit up for Thursday's road matchup against the Coyotes due to an upper-body injury, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 reports.

Analysis:

Versteeg apparently aggravated the injury either during Tuesday night's win over the Stars or during a practice since then, but either way, he will miss his 11th game of the season. The 30-year-old winger had compiled two goals and four assists over the course of a five-game point streak, so it's tough to see him go down while he and his team are so hot.
