Canadiens' Greg Pateryn: Out with foot injury Thursday

Pateryn (foot) will miss Thursday night's game against the Devils, Eric Engels of Sportsnet reports.

Analysis:

Pateryn is an asset to the club as a stay-at-home defender with good instincts, and he has ideal size at 6-foot-2 and 223 pounds. Fortunately, reinforcements are on the way -- the Habs will be welcoming the returns of Nathan Beaulieu (neck) and Zach Redmond (foot) on the blue line Thursday.
