Sabres' Nicolas Deslauriers: Takes part in morning skate

Deslauriers (knee), who hasn't played since Oct. 29, was back on the ice for morning skate Thursday.

Analysis:

The fourth-line banger was placed on injured reserve in early November after colliding with the boards in a game against the Panthers. There's been no date set for Deslauriers' return, but being back on the ice is an encouraging sign. As a bottom-six player with very limited offensive upside, Deslauriers has precious little fantasy value outside of formats that count his hits and PIM.
