Predators' Pekka Rinne: Holds off Avs just well enough to win

Rinne made 25 saves and allowed three goals in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Avalanche.

Analysis:

His stat line wasn't looking good after he gave up all three of those goals on just 15 shots over two periods, but the Preds stuck with Rinne and he turned in a dazzling third frame, making 13 stops to take the harsh edge off his stat line. Although the Finnish netminder has given up 11 goals over his last three outings, he still sports terrific rate stats and draws nearly all the starts for the Preds.
