Avalanche's Semyon Varlamov: Suffers fourth straight loss
Varlamov let the Predators score four times on 32 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 road loss.
Analysis:
He's now dropped four straight starts, giving up 14 goals in the process. Calvin Pickard didn't do himself any favors in his quest for more starts with a five-goal outing last week, but he's still thoroughly outplayed Varlamov, whose 3.08 GAA and .905 save mark are borderline nightmare material for fantasy owners. The Avs play in Boston on Thursday, and it bears watching whom they decide to roll out in net.
