Senators' Marc Methot: Out for Wednesday's game

Methot (lower body) will not play in Wednesday's contest against the Sharks, Ken Warren of the Ottawa Citizen reports.

Analysis:

Methot is close to returning to the ice, but the Sens are playing it safe and allowing the blueliner to recover fully. His next chance to return will be Saturday against the Kings.
