Senators' Bobby Ryan: Could return Wednesday

Ryan (hand) practiced Tuesday and could possibly be ready to return to the lineup for Wednesday night's game in San Jose, Dean Brown of TSN 1200 reports.

Analysis:

Although Ryan remains on injured reserve for the time being, the fact that he practiced Tuesday is undoubtedly good news; even if he doesn't play Wednesday, he'll likely be back shortly thereafter. The 29-year-old winger's play has been massively disappointing this season -- only eight points in 21 games -- so he'll look to get back on track once he returns.
