Senators' Curtis Lazar: Headed to injured reserve

Analysis:

Turns out Lazar's injury is serious enough to warrant a trip to IR, where he'll remain until at least Dec. 14, when the Senators take on the Sharks. However, Bobby Ryan (hand) appears to be nearing a return, so Lazar may not have a place on the roster anymore when he's ready to take the ice again.
