Devils' Beau Bennett: Activated from IR on Tuesday

Bennett was activated off injured reserve Tuesday.

Analysis:

Bennett landed on IR in late November with a leg injury, but he's set to return to the Devils' lineup after missing just three games. The 25-year-old right winger has never managed more than 14 points in any season during his five-year NHL career, but prior to hitting the shelf, he had tallied seven in his last 13 games. His first opportunity to return to NHL action will be a home matchup Tuesday against the Canucks.
