Ducks' Chris Wagner: Demoted to minors

The Ducks reassigned Wagner to AHL San Diego on Tuesday.

Analysis:

Wagner has only tallied two goals in 21 games with the big club this season, so this move doesn't come as much of a surprise. The Ducks will hope a trip to the AHL will help jump start the 25-year-old winger's campaign, but it's unlikely that he'll be making any sort of meaningful impact in the NHL anytime soon.
