Senators' Philip Varone: Summoned to parent club

Varone was recalled from AHL Binghamton on Tuesday.

Analysis:

The verdict is still out on whether Varone can evolve into a full-time player in the NHL. Detractors point to his size -- 5-foot-10, 186 pounds -- as a limiting factor, but he did average more than a point per game with the Baby Sens last season. You can safely pass over him in virtually any fantasy pool until he can start garnering consistent playing time.
