Hurricanes' Ryan Murphy: Recalled from conditioning stint

Murphy was recalled from AHL Charlotte on Monday after playing seven games with the Checkers.

Analysis:

Murphy has never racked up points at the top level, notching just 10 points over 35 games with the Hurricanes last season. While he does own an assist in four contests this season, he's also posted a minus-6 rating over that span, so he doesn't figure to have much fantasy upside. A solid AHL point producer in past years, he's got just a lonely assist with Charlotte, too.
