Ducks' Rickard Rakell: Will not play Sunday

Rakell is day-to-day with an upper-body injury and will not play Sunday against the Flames.

Analysis:

The injury comes as a surprise, as nothing had been previously mentioned by the team after Rakell played a season-high 20:11 against the Oilers on Saturday. It's a significant blow to the Ducks and fantasy owners given how hot the Swede has been lately (six goals in his last eight games), so hopefully the injury isn't serious and he'll be able to return to action soon. Rakell's first chance to suit back up will come Tuesday when the Ducks open a three-game homestand with Carolina.
