Coyotes' Brendan Perlini: Recalled from Tuscon

Perlini was promoted from AHL Tuscon on Sunday.

Analysis:

The 2014 first-round pick received his first run in the AHL this season and has made the most of it. Perlini has averaged a point per game (11 goals and five assists in 16 games) with the IceDogs and could receive his first crack at NHL action as soon as Monday against the Blue Jackets. Arizona sits in the bottom third of the league in scoring this season, so perhaps the 21-year-old can provide a boost on that front.
