Flyers' Steve Mason: Confirmed starter Sunday

Mason will patrol the crease Sunday against the Predators, Steve Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Analysis:

Mason continues to play well between the pipes, allowing just five goals in his last three starts while earning three straight victories. With Neuvirth (lower body) still sidelined and an unproven backup in Anthony Stolarz behind him, the Flyers will continually roll with their main man. He'll attempt to hold a high-powered Nashville attack (3.00 goals per game this season) at bay, but is playing in his second game of the team's back-to-back set Sunday.
