Flames' Johnny Gaudreau: Expected to return Sunday

Gaudreau (finger) says he is ready to play and is expected to draw into the lineup for Sunday night's matchup against the Ducks.

Analysis:

We will be sure to update Gaudreau's status if he is scratched prior to puck drop in Calgary, but all signs point to the young star returning Sunday. Johnny Hockey is way ahead of schedule in his rehab from finger surgery and could be a big boost for a Calgary offense that ranks 26th in the league with 2.26 goals per game.
