Avalanche's Semyon Varlamov: Does his part in loss to Stars

Analysis:

Varlamov gave a strong performance, but unfortunately Colorado couldn't solve Kari Lehtonen on any of its 23 shots. Varlamov drops to 5-11-0 on the season with a .907 save percentage. The Russian netminder has given a few strong performances this season, but Colorado has lost three straight games and is sitting dead last in the Western Conference with 19 points. Varlamov is facing a ton of shots, but the Avalanche are playing so poorly, it's hard to recommend starting the 28-year-old in fantasy.
